ACET

"Actuarial Common Entrance Test" is applicable to those candidates who are planning to enroll with the "Institute of Actuaries of India" as a student member. The eligibility criterion for this exam is that the examinee must have passed 10 + 2 examination with English as one of the subjects.
» It is a computer based test. It consists of 55 questions of 100 marks based on basic mathematics and statistics. For each incorrect answer, there is negative marking of 50%. The distribution of questions would be:

» 1. 25 questions - 1 mark each
» 2. 25 questions - 2 marks each
» 3. 5 questions - 5 marks each

» It is conducting twice in a year in the months of June and December. The registration process is online. The examination fees for ACET is Rs.3000/-. The result would be declared after the 10 days of the examination.
